The Hover Scout is an inexpensive Small Vehicle. It is a small hovercraft, incapable of drilling or carrying, which can only be ridden by a Rock Raider that has been trained to Drive. This is mainly used to carry Rock Raiders from place to place quickly, but cannot cross water or lava. It is the fastest vehicle in the game moving at 3 squares/sec without upgrades. It is used for carrying Rock Raiders quickly across caverns and particularly areas covered in Rubble.
Upgrades
There are two upgrades available for the Hover Scout.
Scanner
This puts a Radar aboard the vehicle, with a scanning radius of 4 squares.
- Costs 5 Ore
Engine
This doubles the vehicle's speed from 3 squares/sec to 5 squares/sec.
- Costs 10 Ore
