Summary

Description A development screenshot of the Windows version of LEGO Rock Raiders.

Visible differences from the final version of the game include:

  • The zoom in and out buttons use arrows instead of magnifying glasses with plus and minus symbols.
  • The energy crystal icons in the meter for energy crystals collected are blue instead of green.
  • Several notification tabs are displayed that are unused or changed in the final version of the game, including:
    • A blue energy crystal.
    • A lit stick of dynamite, likely using either "DynamiteTip.bmp" or "info-dynamite.bmp".
    • A blue energy crystal next to a "no power" symbol, similar to the unused "Crystal_nopower.bmp".
    • A white LEGO brick, likely using either "info-construct.bmp" or "BuildingTIP.bmp".
    • A Rock Raider peaking through a hole that was likely intended for when a new cavern is discovered, using "cavefound.bmp".
    • A power path, using "info_path.bmp".
    • Three stars presumably meant for when a Rock Raider has been trained, using "info_Training.bmp".
  • The numbers displaying how many of a certain type of notification there are are on the opposite sides of the tabs, and some are above the maximum limit of nine that exists in the final game.
  • An information button is present in the top row of buttons, possibly intended for the planned in-game encyclopedia.
  • The menu back button uses a different, more simple arrow design.
