In order to Defend Rock Raider HQ, the Rock Raiders must use various Weapons to fend off Enemies.

These are the three major weapons used typically against Monsters. They usually have little to no effect on Slimy Slugs. The Laser Beam is probably the most conventional weapon in the game. It can be used it can be used to fend off and kill Monsters. It is most effective with Rock Monsters and Ice Monsters is typically a one hit kill. It is least effective against Lava Monsters but does knock them off their feet. The Laser Beam can glitch and drain one's Crystal supply on some missions while firing.

==The Freezer Beam== | |||
The Freezer Beam is a fairly useful weapon in the game. Like the Laser Beam, it can be used while Monsters are attacking to hold them off temporarily, and even kill them. The Freezer Beam is most effective against Lava Monsters, and moderately effective against Rock Monsters, freezing them in a cube of ice. They have no effect on Ice Monsters.

The Pusher Beam is another fairly useful weapon. It has about an equal effect on all Monsters. Although it does not do much damage to Enemies, it knocks them back a fair distance. It is especially useful for pushing Slimy Slugs off of buildings or holding off monsters until reinforcement come.

==The Sonic Blaster== | |||
The Sonic Blaster is the main form of defense against Slimy Slugs, and it can be used against other Enemies as well. Unlike the beam guns, it is used manually and does not require Action Stations to be activated. Following a short countdown after initial deployment, they emit a startling noise and a display of light and smoke. Dropping them near a Slimy Slug will repel it temporarily. Once enough Sonic Blasters have been used, the Slimy Slug will retreat altogether. Sonic Blasters have on occasion been known to crash the game.

PowerCells are ammunition packs that are needed to fire a weapon. Each shot of the weapon drains part of the PowerCell, until it reaches zero. At that point, another PowerCell must be collected. PowerCells were only in the Playstation Game.
