• The RRU Wiki is burning in hell! -10 December, 2015
  • Cyrem has fallen off the face of the earth without giving wiki control to anyone else and now everything's going to bot hell.

• Jamesster Becomes an Area Moderator -24 August, 2013
  • In light of Cyrem's retirement, jamesster was officially promoted to an area moderator! Read the entire announcement here.

• Xiron wins first RRU LEGO Racers Tournament -05 September, 2013
  • After almost 4 months, 5 rounds and 10 other opponents, Xiron became the winner of the first ever RRU LEGO Racers Tournament with a best overall time of 1:26:41 on Imperial Grand Prix, beating out Tazakk by almost 5 seconds (1:31:98). The results for all the rounds can be found here.

• Cyrem steps down as Administrator -7 August, 2013
  • Cyrem officially announces he is stepping down from the role of active Administrator, and installing Cirevam as the forum Administrator. However, he will continue to visit and look after RRU behind the scenes.

• RRU turns 5 years old! -31 July, 2013
  • Rock Raiders United is 5 years old today Happy Birthday RRU!

• Wiki Updated! -December 24, 2012
  • The RRU Wiki was updated to the latest MediaWiki software.

• Old RRU recovered! -October 25, 2012
  • Lair of Rockwhales was talking to Cyrem about the old forums, and Cyrem discovered that he could access the admin panel for them. He fixed the issue and the site is back online! The old Chat box was brought back as well.

• Wiki Update! Merger with Racers Wiki -July 3, 2012
  • The RRU Rock Raiders wiki has merged with the Racers Wiki into a single RRU wiki.
    
  • Help out developing the new Racers and Island Wiki sections!

• DeathStarUnited -December 24, 2011
  • All moderators became Imperial Officers with Darth Vader as their leader. Some members of the rebel alliance soon joined forces as StormTroopers.

• Baz's Mod v1.5 Released! -September 12, 2011
  • The newest and most likely final version the Baz's Mod Overhaul is released!

• Old RRU Vanishes -unknown
  • Without any known reason, the entire old RRU vanished. This occurred sometime in 2011. (This was later found to be a domain issue)

• Third Anniversery -July 31st, 2011
  • Rock Raiders United is turning three years old today, July 31st, 2011! Come on down and celebrate with us all!

• Ben10 Takes over -unknown
  • On an unknown date, RRU forum became riddled with Ben10 images, on purpose... of course.

• SECOND BIRTHDAY -July 31st, 2010
  • On July 31st, 2010, RRU turned 2 years old! LET'S SHOOT FOR 3!

• RRU has its own domain! -September 2, 2009
  • This September, RRU moved! Visit the new and improved forum at: [1]

• RRU Newsletter has just begun with its first three installments! -unknown

• Baz's Mod is now released! -July 29, 2009
  • Baz's Mod 1.0 beta is now released and available for download!

• RRU Wiki is Born -May 13, 2009

Other Events

• Oboe Shoes saves RRU

On Jan 15th, 2013. The uploader became unhappy with the treatment he was receiving. He announced that if he did not receive a file sacrifice within 5 minutes, RRU would explode. Luckily Oboe (A moderator of RRU) sacrificed his spoon.mp3 file and RRU was saved.

• More Expansion
  • On May 26, 2010 there were 61 members on at a single moment. The record for the old forum was 28.

• Expansion
  • As of December 15, 2009, the new RRU has 161 members, and approximately 12,000 total forum posts. This is just over half of the total posts (23,000) and total members (301) of the old RRU, achieved in only a quarter of the time! That's a 400% total growth acceleration! Way to go, RRU!
