Windows
Dynamite failure (Windows)
Dynamite sometimes fails to destroy a wall when it explodes.
Idleness syndrome
Infinite laser drain
Loader Dozer attack loop
Sonic Blaster crash
PlayStation
Dynamite failure (PlayStation)
First Person Fog Glitch
When viewing in Eye View or Shoulder View mode, going to the pause menu can sometimes cause the player's entire vision to become fog, and not clearing until returning to top view. Being near a wall may do the same.
Infinite Laser Drain Glitch
In some installations of the WAD files, using a Laser Beam will completely deplete your crystal supply, causing you to have to use a recharge seam. Whether it happens on the WADs or not is completely random, and the origin is unknown.
Monsters Attacking Loader-Dozers Glitch
Loader Dozers can be caught stuck in shoveling animation when they are attacked mid-animation by Monsters, ultimately spelling doom for the Loader Dozer if the monster continues attacking without any Rock Raiders defending it.
Power Surge Glitch
See Main Article: Power Surge
It is not known whether these were intended, or whether they are just a bug, which is more likely given it's unpredictable nature. They cause a corruption in the power systems to turn off buildings in certain areas permanently when too many Power Paths and Buildings are placed.
Rock Raider Retirement Bug
Late in the game, a common problem that a player will experience is that Rock Raiders that have been trained, upgraded, and named, which should appear upon starting a new level when they are teleported down, are instead replaced with unupgraded, untrained, unnamed recruits. This is because there are a maximum number of unique Rock Raiders stored in the game which can be kept in the game save's memory between levels. If more than this maximum number of Rock Raiders is teleported, the old cadets will be replaced by the new recruits. It is not known whether this was implemented on purpose (to keep the game challenging and/or stably functioning), or is just a bug.
Vehicles Driving Up Walls Bug
Sometimes drilling Vehicles, particularly the Chrome Crusher encounter a bug where they need to readjust their position. Sometimes in doing so they will drive up the side of the wall they are facing and then back down.
PS1 Games
Music Track Glitch
Sometimes, when the music ends, another track plays for a few seconds before going back to the correct track. (This usually happens only on emulators.) -->
