[[Time Raiders]] features all-new vehicles, some of which serve completely new purposes. Additionally, every vehicle that can reach the Upgrade Tower has a unique upgrade, which can range from a rollcage to a mining laser or even an additional boost to another upgrade. For example, if a vehicle has an engine upgrade, its unique upgrade could give it yet another engine upgrade. Additionally, vehicle costs here are not final and may be tweaked for balance. There are also stylistic differences between many of the vehicles, which is due to the future raiders sending their more advanced - and thus, more powerful and restricted - equipment into the past. The distinction between present and future will be made below, but any LEGO fan should be able to tell the difference.

Time Raiders features all-new vehicles, some of which serve completely new purposes.

Command Ships

Please note that Command Ships cannot be upgraded like traditional vehicles. They may receive upgrades automatically as you progress through the game.

Schneider's Command Ship

SchneiderCSv2.png

Present - The Command Ship can move around and thus be used like a vehicle. This is convenient for when there are materials far away and you don't want your raiders to run miles to retrieve them. Since it floats, it can go over water and lava and can't be attacked very easily. If the Command Ship is destroyed or is teleported out of the cavern, the mission is instantly failed, so protect it even though it's hard to hit. It should be noted that the assumed position of a Command Ship is set when a raider, creature, or vehicle first sets a path to go to it. If the ship is moving, raiders will set down materials at the spot where the ship was when they picked up the material, and creatures can attack thin air and hit the ship.

Jacred's Command Ship

JacShipV2wiki.png

Present - Similar to Schneider's Command Ship in functionality, but in-game it has limited autonomy and a usable laser. The player can take direct control of it when necessary. It was designed specifically to deal with both mining operations and hostile situations, so its laser can drill rock and deal some damage, and it mounts a missile pod which doesn't work in-game because explosives break the universe.

Glaven's Command Ship

Past - This Command Ship looks like it belongs in the U.F.O. theme, which is partly true as parts of it were salvaged from a wrecked Cyber Saucer nearly forty years ago. The front half of the ship is a large, powerful beam weapon which has probably lead to the long life of this ship, but since the hull has never once been upgraded, it's a wonder it has lasted this long at all.

Aquatic Vehicles

Wave Rebel

WaveRebelWiki.png

Present - You can paint a jet ski yellow like a duck, except this isn't the LI jet ski. This is a reskinned Rapid Rider through and through, except that it's using the Tunnel Scout's CFG entry because the Wave Master uses the Rapid Rider's entry. The Wave Rebel is a bit faster than the Rapid Rider but still only holds one material. The picture here is not final; the colours will be changed.

Wave Master

WaveMasterReloadedWiki.png

Present - This is the only vehicle that can drill (non-lazer) rock faces that meet the water. Because of this unique feature, you should be on the lookout for drillable rock that you wouldn't be able to reach otherwise. It can be teleported for either two or three spheres.

Land Vehicles

Slimy Slug

Present - The first custom vehicle mod deserves a place here. It is found as an easter egg on some levels. It cannot be teleported, but if teleported out, it leaves a single sphere.

Transport Buggy

HeadlightsSkype.png

Present - Remember the buggy you could build in Lego Island? The Time Raiders have converted a bunch of these for mining operations and offer further engine and defense upgrades. It holds two materials but is very fast. If attacked by monsters, the cargo will fall out. It can be teleported for a single sphere.

Upgrades: Speed and Defense

Digtank

Future - This is a small tank with a transparent canopy and a medium-sized drill. It's the only traditionally-styled vehicle that can get through Hard Walls, but it takes almost half a minute. As it is in development in the present time, it retains a few elements of the present vehicles, such as the drill being powered by an energy crystal. You may not have access to one in every level, which means Hard Walls may be impossible to break through without an Upgrade Tower. It can be teleported for two spheres.

Upgrades: Offense

Bulldozer

BulldozerWiki.png

Present - Bulldozers are necessary to shovel rubble in this game as raiders will be unable to clear rubble by themselves. It's essentially a tiny Loader Dozer. The driver will not float out of the driver's seat during the shoveling animation. It can be teleported for three spheres, but most missions start with at least one.

Upgrades: Defense

Howitzer

HowitzerWiki.png

Future - This is a large tank that is only useful for defense, as it is the slowest vehicle in the Time Raiders' inventory. It is the first tracked vehicle, and the tracks have been confirmed to work in-game. It's bigger than the Power Station, and the cannons are almost as long as two tiles. It can be teleported for eight spheres.

Upgrades: Offense, Scanner

Armoured Transport Truck

ArmoredTransportTruckWiki.png

Present - This is a large six-wheeled truck with a decently-sized cargo hold and armour plating. It is very tough against landslides, and cargo can't fall out. It should hold six materials maximum, since the code is preventing me from having eight at a time. Initially the truck doesn't have that much armour, but the defense upgrade gives it so much that it becomes immune to landslides but can barely move (0.1 blocks per second). The engine upgrade negates that and boosts speed if the defense upgrade is not installed. It can be teleported for four spheres and possibly some protoss.

Upgrades: Speed, Defense, Scanner (it has two seats, it should have a scanner even if it's crap)

Assault Cruiser

AssaultingTheWikiWithTenaciousTenacity.png

Present - The Assault Cruiser is a turbojet hovercraft with Monster Busters attached to it to help defend against aquatic monsters, and thus it's not useful for drilling walls that lie on a river bank. Due to the AI wanting to deposit carried vehicles into the Command Ships, it has lost its ability to carry vehicles. As it is a hovercraft, it can travel over both land and water but, due to how the game treats amphibious vehicles, it uses the Landing Pad to teleport in. In order to teleport it you will still need a Docks. It can be teleported for six spheres.

Upgrades: Scanner

Pyrite Punisher

Future - This is a small mech on a tank base that punches through walls. It's very quick to move once you upgrade it to bipedal legs but a few punches will take out most walls. Seams and Hard Walls take more punishment. Though its use is restricted, it is found much more often than the Unraveler and can be teleported in later missions. It can be teleported for five spheres and possibly some protoss.

Upgrades: Speed, Offense, Defense

Unraveler

UnravelerWiki.png

Present - This is the four-legged mech with drills for arms and a laser eye. A symbol of Time Raiders, it can repair a time stream just by existing, but it can take it down just as quickly. In-game, it will only be supplied in a few missions where extreme danger or plenty of Hard Walls are expected. It cannot be teleported, but it leaves behind about twenty spheres if teleported out. Since it acts like a mobile Support Station, doing that may make the level you're playing extremely difficult to complete.
