This file is ineligible for copyright and therefore in the public domain because it consists entirely of information that is common property and contains no original authorship.

Usage

This template categorizes files into Category:Public domain files ineligible for copyright. It can be used by placing the tag {{PD-ineligible}} at the end of a file's page.

Files may be identified as being ineligible for copyright protection due to:

  1. Consisting only of information that is in the public domain
  2. Lacking evidence of original authorship/creative input of any kind
  3. Failing to pass the threshold of originality
