Ground

Ground is the default surface type.

On the radar screen, ground, here called the Cavern Floor, appears as extremely dark purple when exposed, and dark red when hidden.

In the Windows version of LEGO Rock Raiders, ground is designated in the Predug map with a hexadecimal value of 01 00 when exposed and 02 00 when hidden; in the PlayStation version, it is designated in the Terrain map with a value of 01 00.

Water

On the radar screen, water appears as blue when exposed.

Water is designated in the Terrain map with a hexadecimal value of 09 00 in the Windows version, and with a value of 07 00 in the PlayStation version.

Lava

On the radar screen, lava appears as reddish-orange when exposed.

Lava is designated in the Terrain map with a hexadecimal value of 06 00 in both the Windows version and the PlayStation version.
