<!--Scorpions are a dangerous Enemy native to Planet U in Rock Raiders.  They only appear in the Playstation version of the game; however, attempts have been made to integrate Scorpions into the PC version by Modification.

Scorpion Types
There are different types of Scorpions: Purple Scorpions, Green Scorpions, and Red Scorpions.

Purple & Green Scorpions
These are the two large Scorpions that appear in the Playstation Game.

Threat
Purple Scorpions can deliver a nasty pinch to Rock Raiders using their claws.  Green Scorpions have a ranged attack - they can launch blobs of plasma from their claws at nearby Rock Raiders.

Defense
Like Monsters, Scorpions can be fought off using a Beam Gun, specifically the Pusher Beam which has a shrinking effect on them.  They can be eliminated in three shots.

Red Scorpions
These were smaller Scorpions that were going to be used in the PC game, but they were cut out in the beta stages.

Threat
These Scorpions are believed to be fairly harmless like the Small Spiders and Snakes, but may have delivered small amounts of damage to any Rock Raiders in the area.

Defense
Red Scorpions would likely have been scared off by the use of a Sonic Blaster.
