Summary

Description A development screenshot of the Windows version of LEGO Rock Raiders.

Visible differences from the final version of the game include:

  • The information panel has a different appearance, lacks an air supply meter, and displays a build date: "LegoStripped 20 April 1999, 13:50:56".
  • The energy crystal and ore counters are on the left side of the screen, and do not have any meters that fill up as the number of them stored increases.
  • Much of the final interface is missing, and a button with an unknown purpose is shown where the radar panel would be.
  • The button to order a Rock Raider to drop a sonic blaster is missing, and the back button displays as one of the menu buttons rather than to the side of the menu.
  • Rock Raiders use textures that look like the character Sparks.
  • The Tool Store uses its old model.
  • Power paths for buildings resemble cracked ground.
  • Soil is still a useable wall type.
  • A rock monster is in an ice cave, something that does not occur in the released game.
